What is my "network?"

Your network includes all of your contacts - your friends, family members, co-workers, classmates, etc. - plus all of their contacts, and beyond.

We define your relationship with every other person on Multiply as either Close, Medium or Distant. Anyone beyond Distant is out of your network.

To see everyone who is in your Network, just go to the My Network page and click on the Close, Medium and Distant tabs. Mouse over a person's headshot photo to see how you know them.

What does it mean to block a person?

If someone's bothering you or you just don't like the kinds of things they post on Multiply, you can block that person to make sure you don't see anything else from them on the Messages page. You also won't see anything from people you're connected to solely through the person you blocked, and you can't send messages to blocked users either.

Blocked users can still visit your Multiply site if they know the address, but they won't be able to see your posts.

If you want to block someone, go to their site and click on the "block" link.

Can I import my contacts from my e-mail address book or somewhere else so I don't have to type them again?

Absolutely, you can easily bring over your existing contacts list if you've already entered it somewhere else. Just click on My Network and then Invite Contacts and you'll see all the places you can import your contacts from. You can even export your Multiply contact list for import elsewhere. Just click on Export as CSV File on the My Network page.

How can I delete a contact?

Just go to the My Network page, select the Contacts tab and mouse over the headshot photo of the person you want to delete. Then select Remove as Contact. If you don't see that, it probably means you are hiding mouse-over popups. In that case, you'll have to change the View on the My Network page to Table. Then you'll see Remove links next to each of your contacts. (Go to the My Multiply page and select Preferences to hide or un-hide mouse-over popups).

To delete invitations that you've sent out, go to the My Network page and click Revoke next to the ones you want to delete.

All of the above information has been taken directly from the Multiply FAQ page.
