Blog EntryFaceboxes (Photos of me) FAQJun 25, '07 12:00 AM
by Luiz Felipe for everyone
- What are Faceboxes?
Read this post from the official Multiply FAQ:
http://multiply.com/info/faq/68

- How do I remove a Facebox?
If you were notified about a new 'Photo of me', someone added a facebox with your username. You can easily check who did it and remove the facebox doing this (replace YourUsername with your actual Multiply username):

.Go to your Photos page (http://YourUsername.multiply.com/photos)
.At the bottom of the page, click on the link Review Faceboxes or use this generic link: http://YourUsername.multiply.com/photos/edit-faceboxes

Then you should be able to see a list of photos that have a facebox related to you and can delete the facebox clicking on the remove link beside the photo. Note that this only removes the Facebox info, i.e. the actual photo is not deleted.

- How can I change who can add Faceboxes?
At the bottom of your Phoots page or at the bottom of the page where you can remove the Faceboxes you can also change the settings about who can add them on your photos: just click on Change Who Can Add Faceboxes. You can also go to settings and then to Posting Options to do the same.

- I've removed all Faceboxes but there are still some photos showing in my 'Photos of Me' page. How can I remove them?
The pics showed in your Faceboxes page are the ones you've added to your Profile page. You can edit/remove them here (go to the Photos tab):
http://multiply.com/setup/profile

PS1: Don't worry if you see some pics from your profile page in the facebox list: the pics there have the same access level as the original ones.
PS2: Of course, you can also click on a photo to go to the related post with the original pic.
