by Luiz Felipe for everyone

  • If you cannot see any image at all (you just see empty spaces) in albums:

  • - Reset your browser (empty the cache and delete all cookies):
    http://usersupport.multiply.com/journal/item/56/CLEAN_TempCache_Files_FIRST

    - If it happens only in your page and you are using a customized theme, try using a standard theme:
    http://usersupport.multiply.com/journal/item/140/Using_a_Custom_Theme_Cannot_see_your_contentlinks_Read_this

    - If it happens everywhere or it's intermittent, probably you have something installed in your computer or browser that's blocking images, like a firewall, privacy filter or anti-virus. Disable them temporally to find which one is causing problem and then configure it to allow images from multiply.com.

  • If you cannot find the album (post) either in your main page or in our Photos page but you can still open it from your Inbox or navigating to it using  the prev/next links in your other albums, edit the missing post and edit something minor like its title, then save the post and it should be available again.

  • If the images are distorted, rotated or all of them display the same caption after you've uploaded them, probably it's due to some extra info attached to the file by the digital camera or the software you've used to edit them. Open the files again in your computer and save them in JPEG or PNG format stripping all the extra info (EXIF data, thumbnail, etc) and try to upload again.

  • If you have the wrong image when you try preview the image after clicking on the thumbnail in your Photo album or you get a message saying that your post was deleted, you have to contact Customer Service (link on the right rail >>>>) and give them all the info you can about the problem, and also add a lin to the album with problems to the message so they can locate it easily.

If you have any questions about this or other topics, please title accordingly and post >>> HERE

THANKS ! Your assistance is greatly appreciated! :)

I made a posting "AMUSING THOUGHTS" to "JUST JOKING" (http://justjoking.multiply.com/photos).
When I bring it up, I see 59+ (a few are multiples) photos with text and comments but can't see the 'Reply' or 'Edit' boxes to comments.
Anyone else bringing it up (including me under another identity) sees the comment boxes properly but only the text of the posting, - no pictures. Why?

I scanned through your photo albums and I see 7 albums that just have white backgrounds and the pictures don't show up. I left a comment in that album and I can see the edit, reply & delete buttons.

i dont know if this is out of topic, can i suggest that our pictures that we posted in the site should be locked. If the person visiting my site just right click the mouse and Save As (without my permission). Pictures should be private and for Multiply site only. For security reason. Thanks.

Unfortunately if something is online it means that it can be snagged. The only way to prevent this is posting things you don't want that other people copy to your Contacts only (you can set the access level at any post here on Mutliply, not only photo albums BTW).
Last but not least, suggestion/discussion of Multiply features must be done in the muds group.
