Blog EntryFixing Html Mistakes Mar 18, '07 8:00 AM
by Linda for everyone
Html can be scary. Not only because you may not know how to use it, but because occasionally, when entered wrong, you can lose your Edit Options on your Homepage. You thought you typed it in correctly, from instructions you learned at another group or site, yet either you mistyped or mispasted, or part of the code was missing where you got it from.

For getting to those edit options another way, see the following thread.

Now you are afraid to try again.

So what's an easy way to find out what you did wrong with some of the simpler html codes? A Blog entry! You may not have realized that you had an html "viewer" built into this. Notice the screenshot above, and the "View Source" on the icon bar on an empty blog entry.

Try recreating what you were trying to do, using Multiply's icons above. (Bolding, Italizing, coloring letters, and even centering.) Then just click on view source, and you may see what was missing in the code you were trying to use! You can even save as a draft to practice with, ticking and unticking the "view source" box. Then just delete it when done. :)
