MessageVDO clip doesn't playMay 14, '08 6:23 PM
by StreetSmart for everyone
Hi y'all,

I'd imported a VDO to my site here: http://streetsmartsukhumvit.multiply.com/video/item/33

Everything was fine, people commented, etc. etc... but the weird thing is NOW I can't play it anymore. If I click "play", it just simply refuses to play.

I'd checked the original VDO from YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xKIqLS7dmg and everything also seems to be fine. I'd also imported the same VDO and kept it as a draft, and THAT VDO clip is all fine and dandy as well.

So what went wrong~??

Thanks in advance~!!

Hmmm... it seems to be working fine now... I pressed the "EDIT" button but did nothing, and then I just pressed "SAVE", and it seems to be back to normal. BUT how come it doesn't show on my VDO page??

This is my VDO page: http://streetsmartsukhumvit.multiply.com/video and this VDO should appear after the clip titled "Nerves of Steel"... but it's not there, even though on my home page it's listed as one of my "favorite videos"...

I just looked and I don't see it listed in your videos either... Only by way of the link. :/ Perhaps reupload it and delete that one. There's obviously a problem with that.

I also noticed that it doesn't appear by way of previous and next links. Yeah, I would reup that one.

Can I upload it again and keep the same URL?? (I mean, I wanna keep the comments together with the clip). When I click the 'EDIT' button, I didn't see any way to re-upload the clip.

You will need to do a new upload. You can't edit and re-up. Perhaps c/p the comments over or ask people to comment again (and why).

Let me suggest something else while I'm at it. You've had previous video upload problems for some reason to your account. I'm not sure exactly what is causing this (I know one we found a solution for)...

I'm wondering if you are losing a stable connection while uploading videos. You may wish to do this instead...... Turn this over to CS and let them not only fix this one for you, but perhaps ask if there are any video issues associated with your account that they can check/fix for you.

Thanks; I'll do that~!!
